In the beginning
Our history is embedded in the foundations of our centuries-old Krakow occupancy. The first reference to the original four buildings at 15 Św. Jana Street dates back to 1544. Expansion occurred in the following decades, encompassing a stable, bakery, soap manufacturer and brewery. Between 1666 and 1722, the townhouses merged thanks to the first collective owners: Prince Józef Czartoryski and his brother Kazimierz.
The palace
By 1744, the buildings were refashioned into a grand palace and fell into the hands of the Lubomirski family during the second half of the 19th century. By that time, a redesign was in order: Lubomirski Palace (as it was unsurprisingly named) was reconstructed in 1873-1874 by Maximilian Nitsch, a renowned Krakow-based architect, on the orders of Princess Lubomirska. The Princess’s presence can be felt to this day, with her love for magnolia trees reflected in H15 Palace’s courtyard. The former palace was extended and tenement housing was built before a second floor and a neo-Baroque façade were affixed. In true Kracovian style, modernity was embraced without dismissing the past.

Today
… which takes us to the here and now. In the late ‘10s, H15 Palace had a refresh. Layers of history were uncovered during the process, unveiling stunning polychrome designs. We preserved the Baroque stucco, renovated an 18th-century gate and uplifted the great halls on the first floor. On top of this, we brought a modern Kracovian personality to our spaces, with contemporary art and furniture sitting proudly next to past pleasures. The result is a hotel that lives and breathes the then and now, with all the luxuries a noble past provides, in a city firmly in the present. H15 Palace’s endless layers are in your hands.

Fantastic property, very nice rooms with excellent bathroom. Extremely quite. Great location. The staff are lovely. One day my previously arranged tour was cancelled and they were so helpful arranging something else for me to so. Always friendly and smiling. The breakfast staff were also excellent. I ate a meal at the hotel bistro which was delicious and very good value for money.

I don’t receive upgrade benefit even though the hotel was quite empty. The service and staff are excellent. The spa is a great asset. The location couldn’t be better 2 mins walk to the main square. The only real negative was the lobby music which played in the lobby and restaurants. It was a 5 min loop and by the end of our stay was driving us up the wall.

H15 Luxury Palace is simply that... a pleasure to have stayed here on my 2nd trip to Krakow.. the rooms are beautifully decorated and the the food/service is superb. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
2 minute walk and your in the main square of krakow perfect location

Even though we got in delayed, spent the next day exploring then had to leave super early the next morning, we LOVED our time at this stunning hotel! Every staff member went above and beyond making us feel special!! They all had smiles, helpful attitudes, and were willing to find the answers if they weren't sure themselves. What we saw of the building was clean and absolutely beautiful! The concierge helped us arrange tour tickets and private transport easily via email before arriving. Then he helped us mail a package home! We CANNOT WAIT to come back here again some day and REALLY enjoy all it has to offer! THANK YOU H15! Above and beyond!!❤️

- Very quiet road
- Very close to other 5 start hotels and many restaurants
- lovely decor
- nice pool, . Spa with Sauna, Steam room , jacuzzi
- Excellent cafe across the road - Gossip.
- Right next to museum
- Close to Florian’s gate
- Heated bathroom floor is great for ensuring costumes hung in the bathroom are dry the next day
- We had a superior room which had plenty of seating - 2 chairs, sofa, and 2 coffee tables. And plenty of room to move around
- They can arrange drivers to tourist attractions or airport. Obviously you will pay a premium as it’s a Mercedes limo and driver - so coast to airport is £30 compared to £10 that I have seen people quote for a Bolt

Absolutely faultless. I would have liked to stay longer. Do not look past this hotel! Whilst it is first class it is not stuffy. People lovely. Details of the hotel exceptional. Service excellent. Nothing too difficult. Perfect location for exploring Krakow by foot. Great food recommendations. Pool and sauna lovely. Wish I had stayed longer, just amazing!

This is my second visit to this hotel and I must say that it certainly will not be the last. Wonderful hotel, great atmosphere, professional service, delicious breakfasts. This is an intimate hotel located in the old town. A modern place that meets the highest standards on the one hand and has incredible historical value on the other. I recommend it 1000%
